Greene On Coalville

Friday Nov 30, 2018

 Lambs welcome Ravens on Saturday!

Manager Dennis Greene caught up with Matt Panter of the Tamworth Herald this week. Next up, on Saturday, is a home game with tenth-placed Coalville Town and Greene is keen to push on.

“I’m happy with the way it is going,” he said. “We are still in a transition period but we are getting stronger. We have gone six games unbeaten and that has included games against the top two, Kettering and Stourbridge, as well as Biggleswade. So I think we should all be looking at things positively."

Greene continued “If we can stay undefeated in the next four games, I think we will be fully in the play-off mix, which will be ahead of schedule for me. They have not won for a while but they are above us and have three games in hand on the teams around them,” Greene said. “So they are right there in the mix and a more than capable side. But, as I say, we are on a little unbeaten run and the aim is to maintain that form.”

Meanwhile, Greene praised youngster Fortune Maphosa after a strong debut at Stourbridge on Saturday. “I thought he sat in and did a great job for us,” Greene said. “Hopefully we have got a gem there.”

As always, tickets start from £11 for adults, £7 for concessions, and just £2 for U16's. For those unable to attend, full match commentary will be available via the MixLR app.
