 Jake Price looks at new signings!

 Lambs Media's Jake Price teamed up with Matt Panter of the Tamworth Herald recently to take a closer look at some new arrivals at The Lamb.

 Jas Singh -

 The former AFC Teflord shot-stopper has joined Tamworth for the upcoming season as the team look for an immediate return back to the National League North. Manager Mike Fowler believes Singh will be the answer to the club’s goalkeeping issues which surfaced throughout the previous season.

 Singh, who has signed on a one-year contract, previously played for Shrewsbury, Kidderminster Harriers, Solihull Moors and AFC Telford before coming to the Lamb.

 Did you know? Singh followed Joe Hart through the youth system at Shrewsbury but, during a loan at Sutton, shattered his cheek bone, halting his progress. The 28-year-old has also played alongside former Norwich City striker Grant Holt and used to practice penalties with him after training.


 Lewis Wright -

 Wright has previously played at right back but has been used a bit further forward as a midfielder in recent times.He was a youngster at Birmingham City, Walsall and West Bromwich Albion.

 Wright finished last season with Redditch United but is best known for his stint with Hednesford Town.

 Did you know? The Midlands based player was part of Solihull Moors’ National League North winning side of 2015/16.


 Tristan Dunkley -

 Dunkley followed Lewis Wright in signing from Redditch United. He began his career at Birmingham City academy and has gone on to represent many non-league clubs.

 A successful spell at Worcester City earned him a move to National League North side Solihull Moors at the start of the season before signing for Redditch.

 Did you know? Chey Dunkley, Tristan’s brother, plays for Wigan and helped the Latics gain promotion form the Championship last season.


 Kristian Green

 Right-back Kristian Green agreed to join Tamworth from National League side Solihull Moors.

 The 27- year-old is no stranger to step three football having played for a few teams at this level before including successful spells at both Halesowen Town and Stourbridge.

 Did you know? Green was part of the team that made history for Stourbridge, making the third-round proper of the FA Cup in the 2015/16 season. They eventually lost 2-1 to Wycombe Wanderers.


 Chris Lait

 The 25-year-old wide midfielder has signed from Solihull Moors having also had spells with Rushall Olympic and Stourbridge.

 He ended his spell with Stourbridge on a total of 22 goals from 90 starts.

 Did you know? Lait scored eight goals for Stourbridge in their FA Cup run to the third round in the 2015/16 season.
