 DAN Preston says he is desperate to return to the thick of the action this weekend after being forced to sit out the win at Gloucester City...


 Preston was forced to take a watching brief at Whaddon Road after being sent off in the recent home defeat to Brackley.

 He is available again for Saturday’s crunch clash with National League North leaders, Solihull Moors, and admitted: “It will be good to be back.

 “I hate watching games of football.

 “I want to be involved so it was tough on Saturday, having to just sit back and watch the lads.

 “Fortunately, the lads got a great win in the last minute so it was a massive boost for everyone.

 “Hopefully now we can kick-on in the last 10-12 games. We have given ourselves a chance again and the last couple of games have felt that we are back to our old selves.”
