Tamworth FC Academy set out on a 6 days adventure at lunchtime today to play in a pre-season tournament in Denmark.
Lead by Mike Fowler (Academy Director) and Scott Rickards (Coach), 28 lads aged between 15 and 18 will be playing in two teams against sides from across the world. In the group stages the Tamworth teams will compete against opposition from China, Malaysia, Norway and Sweden. Hopefully they will be able to progress to the final stages of the competition. A report will be available of how they got on when they return from the competition.
