Condolences to Marcus & Family

Sunday Dec 30, 2012

The Directors, Staff and supporters of Tamworth FC send  their deep condolences to Marcus Law on the death of his mother. Glennis who was aged 59 was admitted into hospital on Christmas Eve for a routine operation, During the Boxing Day fixture away at Nuneaton Town Marcus  took a call informing him to get to the hospital as soon as he can due to Glennis having been transferred into the Critical Care Unit.

On Saturday Marcus was on his way to join up with the team coach for the trip to Wrexham when he received another call which resulted in him travelling back to the hosital where unfortunately Glennis passed away.

It is a very sad time for Marcus but along with the trauma of his Mothers death  he also has the stress of his wife Lucy giving birth any day now to their second child. We send our best wishes to Lucy at this difficult time and look forward to learning if it is a boy or girl in the next few days.

Our thoughts are with Bill  (Marcus's father), Lucy (Wife) and Sophie (Daughter)
