CLARKE SEEKS HOME COMFORTS

Thursday Oct 8, 2015

MIDFIELD man, Shane Clarke, has stressed the importance of getting our home form right...

The Lambs are back in action on October 17th with a mouth-watering clash with current League leaders, Solihull Moors.

We are currently unbeaten in five home League games, but three of those encounters have ended in draws.

“We need to be winning our home games,” he said. “We have to get things right on home soil and then take it from there.

“Yes, we’re unbeaten at The Lamb in the League, but we know that there is still room for improvement and being more ruthless.

“To achieve that everyone has to pull together and make life as difficult as possible for the opposition. The players and supporters have a responsibility to do that.

“We know that we have to put on performances for the fans and at the same time we need them right behind us.

“There is a lot of ability in our team; we can’t wait to get back out there and make amends for our defeat at Curzon Ashton in the last game.

“Our next game is a big one and we’re all determined to get a result and start pushing on.”
