 SHANE Clarke is looking forward to being part of the new-look Lambs squad this season...

 “The Gaffer has kept a good core of last season’s squad and has built around it,” he said. “It’s given us a freshness and I think we’ve got a good group together now.

 “The team has changed a lot, but we all get on and I’m enjoying it. The new boys have been able to settle in really quickly, to be fair, and things are going well.

 “It’s been a very positive pre-season; and hopefully we can build on that and take a step forward this year.”
