Brackley At Home On Saturday

Wednesday Feb 8, 2017

Lambs host Saints in clash of playoff contenders!

With just a single point collected from trips to Gloucester City and Worcester City respectively, we will be looking to return to winning ways at home to Brackley Town this Saturday (3.00pm kick off). With up to four games in hand on most of the teams around them due to heroics in both the FA Cup and FA Trophy, Brackley are certainly still in with a shout when looking at playoff contenders. However, we have secured 6 points from a possible 9 in 2017 at home so far, and will be looking to add to this tally.

The reverse fixture earlier in the season ended in a 0-0 draw, with midfielder Joe Clarke making his first competitive Lambs appearance against the team he ended last season with. Fellow ex-Brackley team mate Stephan Morley missed the game back in August, and will surely be keen to get one over on his previous club this time around.

The game is unfortunately likely to come too soon for Connor Taylor, who started on the opening day at St James Park, while James Belshaw is also rated as extremely doubtful. Midfielder Ben Fox has extended his loan from Burton Albion, and will be available for selection.

As always, tickets start from as little as £12 for adults, £7 for concessions, and just £2 for juniors. We need as much support as possible to help us try and secure the victory!
