Lamb in snow

The Lambs have had the third home game in a row postponed due to the inclement weather. The pitch which is heavily frozen is still covered with around 8" of snow. The surrounding areas inside and outside the ground are unsafe and with the temperature expected to drop below minus 10C on Christmas Day and Boxing Day the match against Kettering stood very little chance of ever been played on the scheduled date.

The players were put through a gruelling session at the SnowDome on Christamas Eve and will be back training on Monday when an indoor facility in Wolverhampton has been made available for the Des and his players. Only Neil Mackenzie was missing on Friday due to illness.

The match at Luton Town on Bank Holiday Tuesday is already in doubt and a pitch inspection will be held on Monday morning. early indications are that the game will be off.
