Boston At Home This Saturday

Tuesday Jan 24, 2017

Pilgrims next up at The Lamb!

It's a third consecutive home game for Andy Morrell's men this Saturday, as we prepare to host Boston United (3.00pm kick off). After falling to eighth position in National League North due to not playing last weekend, the players and staff are all keen to reignite the playoff push.

It was a disappointing early season trip to Lincolnshire back in August, as The Pilgrims inflicted our first defeat of the season after we had collected an impressive seven points from the opening three games. Defensive problems were suffered on the day, with Jack Lane leaving the field injured after just 15 minutes, and Stephen Tomassen being sent off in the 33rd minute, meaning that Boston eventually ran out 3-0 winners.

After the selection headache of the FC Halifax Town game, problems are easing slightly, with club captain Paul Green close to a return after completing 45 minutes for our U21's last weekend. Ben Fox and Danny Newton are both also possibilities to be involved, although Luke Jones will miss out again as he serves the final match of his suspension.

As always, tickets start from as little as £12 for adults, £7 for concessions, and just £2 for juniors. We need as much support as possible to help us try and get our playoff bid back on track!
