Big Game to start 2013

Wednesday Jan 2, 2013

The Lambs host local rivals Nuneaton Town this evening in an inportant Blue Square Bet Premier match. Nuneaton will move out the bottom foue with a win and if the Lambs secure the points they will put some space between them and the teams at the foot of the table. It will be the Dunkirk spirit that will be needed tonight as Marcus Law has a number of selection headaches to ponder. He has lost Adam Cunnington, Tommy Wright and Lloyd Kerry to suspension, has seen Geaorge Baldock and Charlie Collins return back to MK Dons their parent club after their long loans finished on  the 31st December.

Peter Till was carried off at Wrexham in the last game of 2012 so will be doubtful so with Marcus and Dale ringing around for loan players or recently released players there may be a starnge look to the Lambs team tonight. If no new faces the lads in Reserve will get their chance and they desreve to show what they can do as they have worked hard in training and in the Reserves. The lads need all of your support to ensure we start our home form with a win and put behind us the run of results during the first half of the season.

Our next three home games are all six pointers and will be season defining. Get behind the lads and lift them for the 90 minutes. Turnstiles open at 6.30pm. There are no bar facilities for away supporters at the Lmab ground but an ecellent catering unit is on site for those rushing to the game from work.
