Back Tamworth to dominate crucial battle between bottom and top
As Tamworth and Lowestoft get set to face-off it is clear that teams from the bottom and top halves of the table will have their eyes set on The Lamb Ground on Saturday.
Lowestoft remain just two points away from the drop, with two points to spare, whilst Tamworth are just three points away from a precious play-off position.
Tamworth go into the game as 7/9 favourites, and look excellent value for all three points.
Player-manager, Andy Morrell, will be a little concerned with his side’s recent form however. Three defeats from five games has somewhat derailed the Lambs promotion push, but he can get the team back on track by implementing his disciplined, no-nonsense football that has brought much success this season.
Tamworth have scored the least amount of goals of any team in the top eight, but they also carry the second best defence in the division which has conceded just 43 goals. However, with on-loan striker Kaid Mohammed scoring in back-to-back games, Tamworth have a real attaching threat.
Lowestoft have proved to be tricky customers at times this campaign, with wins against the likes of Chorley and Boston United, and they should put up a good fight on Saturday.
A Tamworth win by the odd-goal looks the best bet. Back Tamworth to win 1-0 at generous odds of 13/2. If you are looking for an attractive offer for the game check out Ozcasinos.net where you can play blackjack or roulette.
