LAMBS’ goalkeeper, James Belshaw, is keen to see us build on our last performance as we head to Lowestoft Town on Saturday...
Having played out a 1-1 draw with League leaders, Solihull Moors, last weekend, the popular custodian wants us to start building some momentum.
“Our performance against Solihull gave us a much-needed boost,” he said. “It was an entertaining game between two good teams.
“Having lost at Curzon, it gave us all a lift, but it’s important that we back this performance up now.
“It will mean absolutely nothing if we don’t build on it at Lowestoft now.
“There’s a run of games ahead where we need to start picking up points to cement our place within the play-off pack.
“We need to get some momentum going; we saw last season what can happen if you get on a run of results.
“There are a lot more options within the squad for the Gaffer this season. That can only help our cause; you need competition because it drives you on.
“We’ve got a positive vibe around the squad right now.”
