LAMBS' defender, Dan Preston, admits it has been a frustrating few weeks in terms of results but says that we aim to be 'bang at it' this weekend for the visit of FC United of Manchester...

We have lost our last five games in all competitions but hope to return to winning ways this weekend.

"It's fine lines at times," Preston said. "Nuneaton was poor but you look at the other games and they could have been very different.

"North Ferriby was closer than the score suggests and we had chances in that game to get something.

"We missed a penalty in the first game against Alfreton and conceded at the death in the other match with them.

"So we could have got more from the games. Those matches are gone now but hopefully we can get back to it.

"We have enough character and experience in the squad to respond positively.

"The lads have been training well this week. There's been a good atmosphere and hopefully we can carry that through to Saturday. We need to make sure that we are bang at it this weekend."
