All the team news ahead of our game against WBA this evening

Sunday Jul 7, 2019

We welcome West Bromwich Albion to the Lamb this evening - Tuesday 9 July

The Lamb will host the first friendly of the season when Tamworth host Sky Bet Championship outfit West Bromwich Albion. Kick off is 7.45.

The game will give the Lambs management a first chance to see how the squad is shaping up after the first few weeks of training. It will also be the first chance for fans to see our new signings - Lathaniel Rowe-Turner, Rhys Hoeness (both signed from Kettering Town), Dan Creaney (from Coaville Town), Aaron Forde (from Stourbridge), Greg Kaziboni (from Banbury), and James Fry (from Stratford Town).

Meanwhile West Bromwich Albion will be bringing their full strength Premier League U23 outfit, together with some impressive U18s. Some of the stand out players that will be involved include:

Dara O’Shea - a Republic of Ireland Under-21 defender, who spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Sky Bet League Two side Exeter City, becoming a regular at the heart of their defence in a team which narrowly missed out on the Play-Off places.

Rayhaan Tulloch - An exciting winger who made his senior first team debut for Albion January 2019 in the FA Cup against Brighton and Hove Albion. The talented England youth international has represented his country at under-18s level.

Morgan Rogers - an England youth international at Under-15s, Under-16s and Under-17s  and made his senior Albion debut against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Emirates FA Cup in February 2019, aged just 16. Man City are currently interested in signing Morgan.

 Admission on the gate is:
