All eyes turn to Boxing Day

Tuesday Dec 24, 2019

The eagerly awaited local derby against Nuneaton Borough takes place on Boxing Day. Please note that KO is at 12.00 midday.

We welcome 7th placed Nuneaton Borough to the Lamb on Boxing Day for this eagerly awaited local derby. It will be the second time the sides have faced each other this season with the Lambs coming out on top 3-1 in the FA Cup in front of a bumper crowd of 1047 in early September. The goals that day came from Ryan Beswick, Ahmed Obeng and Bilal Yafai with James CLifton on the score sheet for Borough.
Although the Lambs lost last time out to Needham Market, they still go into the game as the form team in the league with 21 points from the last 8 games, while Nuneaton have secured 15 from the same number of games. However, Nuneaton come into the game on the back of a 4-0 victory secured over St Ives Town on Saturday. It should be a close encounter between the two rivals.
With a large gate anticipated supporters are encouraged to get into the ground early to save long queues at the turnstiles and remember the game kicks off at midday. The game will be segregated so Nuneaton fans should enter the ground via the turnstiles closest to the car park entrance. Separate hot and cold refreshments will be available for away fans to purchase.
Car parking prices are as follows: Cars £2, Mini Buses £5 and Coaches £10.
Programmes will be on sale in the club shoup and sales points around the ground priced at £2.50
If you can’t get to the game then you can listen live courtesy of Lambs Media sponsored by on our Mixlr channel. Regular updates will be available on the Tamworth FC Twitter and Facebook sites.
For the first time this season we welcome the Tamworth Brewing Company who will be sponsoring the Man of the Match award and Packaging GB will be donating £100 for every Tamworth goal scored to the TFC Team Builder Fund.
