Richard Sneekes, a player developed in the fabled Ajax academy system, will be joining the TFC coaching team for the 2010/11 season. Sneekes made his debut for Ajax at 16, and played for Netherlands National Schoolboy and U21 teams. His previous clubs include Ajax, Bolton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion. ...Academy Head Coach Dale Belford in developing Tamworth Football Clubs growing youth talent. Sneekes agreed to join the coaching team after discussing the club's approach to youth development with Chairman Bob Andrews, Vice Chairman Steve Lathbury and Dale Belford at this morning's academy trial. The third academy trial went well today under less than ideal conditions; with Dale and Richard identifying a few more prospects to add to the ranks for the 2010/11 campaign.
Dale inserted current academy hot prospect's Alando Lewis, Ahmed Mwimba and Tom Busby to gauge the trialists against. All three excelled, partly down to their skill, and abilities gained under Dale's tutorship; but also thanks must go to the Snowdome as the three players undergo an intensive pre, pre-season daily routine with circuits conducted under their expert stewardship; with a view to stepping up to playing in the non-league pyramid on loan in the coming months.
