3 Consecutive Wins

Tuesday Nov 8, 2016

9 points from the last 9 available in National League North!

The Lambs travel to Harrogate Town this Saturday in confident mood. Danny Newton's brace secured a 2-1 win over much fancied Darlington 1883 over the weekend, meaning that three consecutive wins have been achieved for the first time since February. The latest win puts us in 6th place, just one point outside of the playoffs, and with games in hand on some of the teams above us.

Commenting on current form, Boss Andy Morrell said "They were three games, given the stature of teams, where we could quite easily have come out of them without any points. So to come out with the maximum nine, play well and, for me, deserve the victories, it has been great for the players. They have really knuckled down, taken on board what we have asked of them and they have defended like warriors. I can't fault them."

Following the trip to Yorkshire, there are two quick-fire home games, firstly against Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday November 19th, and then our rearranged fixture against Stockport County on Tuesday November 22nd.
