"Lambs are on target" - Mills

Saturday Mar 7, 2009

"We know that teams will try and make it difficult for us," said Lambs boss Gary Mills after his side recorded a 2-1 home win to keep the pressure up at the top of the table, "but we almost shot ourselves in the foot after going 2-0 up. The defence have been playing outstandingly recently but it left everyone biting their nails and (Martin) Foster cleared one off the line late on"

Rodman nets the opener v Farsley"I would be lying to say I don't look at the rest of the table, but it is, as we've said from the start of the season, all about what we do.

"If a team records an average of two points a game then they are always going to be there or there abouts come the end of the season and we're doing almost exactly that at the moment.
"We've just got to keep on doing what we do and try and keep winning."

The Lambs next game is at home to Blyth Spartans on Saturday, March 14.

Meanwhile, you can catch the reserves - who recorded a 4-0 win away at Walsall Wood on Saturday to continue their excellent run - in action at The Lamb on Tuesday night when they entertain Boldmere St. Michaels in a Midland Combination Reserve league fixture, kick off 7.45pm.
