Lambs strike three times to sink Stanley

Tamworth claimed three priceless points with this excellent victory at the Interlink Stadium, Accrington. Bob Taylor put the Lambs ahead in the 18th minute only for the home side to level matters in the 33rd minute via Paul Mullen.
It was all-square at the break, but Tamworth soon grabbed a 2 goal advantage. Shaun Harrod claimed his third goal in as many games with a long-range strike in the 48th minute. Marvin Brown claimed his first goal for the club with a close range shot in the 55th minute to make the score 3 – 1 to Mark Coopers men.
However, Accrington reduced the arrears in the 63rd minute. The action continued to flow with both teams hitting the woodwork as Tamworth held on for an important victory.
