Lambs get preseason off to a winning start

Under the scorching sunshine The Adders entertained The Lambs at Sheepy Road and it was Mark Cooper's squad that emerged victorious.

After a tentative goalless first half where a shot from Dave Bampton was the only real chance on goal Tamworth took the initivative in the second half with three well taken strikes.

Jon Stevenson opened the scoring from close range followed by a deft turn and strike from trialist Lee Moore and youth team star Shuan Ridgway fired home a well taken long range effort to seal victory.

The Adders produced a 20 page part colour programme for the game which also saw fans young and old enjoying the hospitality offered at Sheepy Road.
