Lambs end Pre-Season unbeaten

FT: Rushall Olympic 0    0 Tamworth

01 August 2015The visitors opened on the attack and Lee Smith found Steve Tomassen out on the right whose dangerous cross was headed away but the home side hit back when Luke Benbow almost played the ball through for Bilal but Smith was there to clear. Andy Burns hit back for the visitors and his surging run took him into the heart of the Pics defence before he was eventually crowded out and then Danny Newton saw his shot deflected. James Belshaw was then forced into a good save, in the thirty third minute beating away Benbow`s close range pile-driver but there was a blow for Tamworth when striker Ross Dyer limped out of the action with a foot injury. The visitors kept on the attack and Millard saw his cross cleared as the half drew to a close.

Both sides made numerous changes at the interval and the home side opened up well when Bilal headed over and Duggan`s header just cleared the bar and then Raaj Gill comfortably held Kris Taylor`s long range shot. There was a chance for the Lambs when Brad Gascoigne headed over as the game petered out to a goalless draw.
