Hibbert strike brings final gold

FT: Rushall Olympic 0    1 Tamworth

02 August 2014With Cameron Belford in goal because James Belshaw was not available The Lambs ran out at Dales Lane for the final pre-season friendly of 2014-15.

There was lots of movement from both sides in the opening exchanges, but the first real shot at goal came on 25 when Hibbert forced a save with a half volley.
Hibbert then fed Jackson and his shot from the right struck the right hand upright and Taylor tried his luck but shortly after but lifted his shot over the left hand corner of the target.
A good shot from the Pics Farrell went wide of the mark as the first half neared an end, and Adams freekick found it's way back to the keeper before the half time whistle blew.

Clarke sent a low shot on goal early in the second half which keeper Roberts fumbled past his post, and then Hibert dragged a shot wide of the mark on 52.
Jackson fired a strike from the right of the goal over the bar and post and the only goal of the game came from Hibbert's strike into the bottom right hand corner after a ball from the left wing. (1-0, 63 mins)
Adams hit a right foot shot over the bar and Hibbert' goal attempt went into the side netting as The Lambs went in sarch of a second, but had to settle for the slender victory.
