Deserved away point for The Lambs
19 September 2006 From BBC Sport: Morecambe and Tamworth fought out a drab goalless draw at Christie Park. Morecambe's Michael Twiss had the first opportunity on 26 minutes with a powerful 25-yard strike which flew narrowly past the post. Twiss also tried his luck from long range in the 49th minute, but again his shot was off target. Morecambe wasted a golden opportunity to take the lead when Danny Carlton wastefully headed Michael Howard's cross over the bar from six yards out.
From morecambefc.com: Morecambe couldn't break down a stubborn Tamworth defence at Christie Park as they played out a 0-0 draw with the Lambs.
