HT: Coleshill Town 11 Tamworth
In the first minute of the second period Molesworth fired the ball into the box and Zazi somehow failed to connect to it at the far post. Lait saw his goalbound effort batted away by Hathaway on 53 but a wonder strike from Sandhu two minutes later restored Coleshill's lead. He spotted Walton off his line and shot home over the top of the keeper into the back of the net from fully 35 yards (1-2, 55 mins) Tamworth made all their changes over the next 25 minutes but couldn't find a way through, and there was a prolonged stoppage following a tackle in the centre of the park. Keeper Hathaway nearly scored on 83 with a long range strike which Walton had to tip over his bar, and just when it looked like Tamworth would be heading out of the competition A superb flowing move starting at the back resulted in the Lait nipping the ball past Hathaway for a late late equaliser. (2-2, 92 mins). Play continued almost as far as 100 minutes before the referee blew time on normal play and with no extra time, penalties were required to find a winner.
