Tamworth salvaged a point at Canvey today after squandering a two-goal lead.
21 August 2004 Goals from Neil Ross (23) and Lee Colkin (35) had put Tamworth in the driving seat. Canvey pulled a goal back via Keeling a minute before the break. The home side were all level in the 55th minute following a hotly disputed penalty. Boylon slotted home the spot kick then put Canvey ahead in the 65th minute. A great fightback by the Lambs saw Tristan Whitman hit the target in the 71st minute and Tamworth almost bagged a 4th when Rory May hit the woodwork just before the final whistle. Canvey had Keeling sent off in the 90th minute.
