BIOGRAPHY
Tyrell came through the Ilkeston youth academy scoring the club's first ever competitive goal. He then signed a two-year contract with the Northern Premier League Division One South club in March 2012. Later in that month he was signed by League One club Notts County after impressing manager Keith Curle during a two-week trial. He made his debut for the club on 21 August 2012, in a 2–0 win over Hartlepool United at Meadow Lane. Waite scored his first goal for Notts County against Coventry City on the final day of the season. He then spent two spells out on loan at Nuneaton Town and also returned on loan twice to Ilkeston, during his time at Notts County.
Tyrell was again loaned out on the 27 November 2014 to Lincoln City until 4 January 2015. Following his return to Notts County both parties agreed to cancel his contract so that was able to join Lincoln City on a permanent basis, agreeing a contract until the end of the 2014-15 season.
On 11 March 2015, it was revealed that Waite had signed a two-year deal with Swedish Football Division 2 side Skellefteå FF. Spells at Nuneaton Town, Kidderminster Harriers and Boston United followed on his return. Whilst at Boston United, Tyrell enjoyed loan spells with Matlock Town and Stafford Rangers.
Tyrell signed for Tamworth on 25 July 2018, following some impressive displays whilst on trial in pre-season, and made his debut for Tamworth on 11 August 2018, in a 1-0 away defeat to St Ives Town. During the season he scored 10 league goals.
On 2 June 2019, Tamworth confirmed that Waite had signed to remain with the club for the 2019–20 season
