Playing Squad - Manager - Marcus Law

Marcus LawMarcus started his career as a goalkeeper at Bristol Rovers, making two appearances in The Football League during the 1994-95 season.

He then moved into non-league football, playing for Stafford Rangers and Sacramento Knights in America but a hip injury forced early retirement.

His managerial career started with non-league Coventry Sphinx before moving on to Racing Club Warwick, Quorn and Barwell.

While at Barwell he won the Midland Football Alliance, the highest position they had achieved as a club in their history and started an unbeaten run that stretched to 66 games.

Unsurprisingly the successful run attracted the national press and with it Conference National side Kettering Town, where he was appointed manager in September 2010.

After just eight months he left the Northamptonshire club to take the vacant position at The Lamb, replacing the previously departed Des Lyttle and set about building a squad for the (then) forthcoming 2011-12 season.
