Playing Squad - Gary Mills & Darron GeeManager: Gary Mills
The Lamb welcomed Gary back in January 2007 following the departure of Mark Cooper. His name was definitely not unknown to Tamworth FC as Gary had previously been at the club from January 2001 and was instrumental in saving the club from the drop. The following season Tamworth missed out on promotion to the Conference National on the final day and Gary took up a post at Coventry City before moving to Notts County and then Alfreton as manager. His return to the club had a noticable effect behind the scenes and although he was unable to prevent the Lambs relegation in his first season back, promotion was achieved in 2008-09 to return The Lambs to the top of the non league footballing tree. Assistant Manager: Darron Gee
Darron first came to the club with Gary Mills in January 2001 and after Mills departed he lead The Lambs to the FA Trophy Final and won promotion to the Conference in the same season - arguably the best ever campaign for Tamworth.
He eventually joined up with long term friend Mills again and returned to TFC from Alfreton in January 2007.
