Tom joined Tamworth from Mansfield Town in October 2008 and made an instant impact by scoring on his debut. He previously made over 50 appearances for Rushden and Diamonds and scored against Tamworth in the FA Cup before signing a professional contract with The Stags in August 2008. He started his career as a youth at Nottingham Forest. Tom also recieved the honour of being called up to the England C team in February 2009.
