Gavin is a former Nott'm Forest trainee and joined Kidderminster Harriers after leaving the City Ground. After spending a couple of seasons at Aggborough he signed for Tamworth from Mansfield in the summer of 2009 and also enjoyed a spell at King's Lynn.
