Tamworth worked hard for all three points against relegation threatened Leamington at The Lamb on Saturday and with just two games remaining, travel to league leaders Barrow on Saturday 18 April to try and keep the play off dream alive.

The Supporters Club are definitely running a coach to the game and it has been sponsored by TFC web designers Zero One Design meaning a bargain £10 adult fare for SC members. It will depart The Lamb at 8am on Saturday and you can book a seat by contacting the SC on 0797 100 1078.

Shrews recall Dom Smith 07/04/2015

The Lambs received an e-mail on Tuesday morning from Shrewsbury Town informing the club that they were giving 24 hours notice of recall for the services of Dom Smithy. Dom who played for the Welsh Under 21's last week will be in contention for a first team shirt at Shrewsbury Town as they now approach the end of the season where the first target is automatic promotion or a play off place and a potential game at Wembley.

Dom has been a good advert for the loan system as playing First Team football for the Lambs on a regular basis has been good for his career and we look forward to seeing him progress with the Shrews.

Roy Hodgson Guest of Honour for Vanarama Promotion Final 07/04/2015

The Vanarama Conference is pleased to announce the main guest of honour on Sunday 17th May for their showpiece end of season game at Wembley Stadium, which this season is part of the wider Vanarama Big Day Out, is the England team manager, Roy Hodgson.

Last Saturday afternoons Junior Club guests at the Lamb were from Coton Green FC and after the game we received the following e-mail On behalf of myself and rest of the club that attended today can I say a huge thanks to everyone that made the boys feel so welcome The way Andy,Mike and players all found the time to speak to the lads was fantastic also going onto the pitch at half time for photos just topped it off for them , Many thanks again they had a brilliant time Best wishes Simon Butlin Coton Green u10s

Easter Football Fun Day update 20/03/2015

Following the success of the Football Fun Days during February Half Term, Tamworth Football Club are set to run further Football Fun Days this Easter on the following dates: Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th April Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th April


Firstly, many thanks for your interest in the Tamworth Youth Development Academy. The response has been magnificent and we are all looking forward to seeing local kids trial on The Lamb for their local Club! It seems that this has really caught the imagination of the local football community. Due to the popularity of the trials, we have decided to split the age groups and extend the length of the trial to give every player the best opportunity to impress and showcase themselves. As such please see the below changes…

Academy Development statement 03/03/2015

Tamworth Football Club are delighted to announce their trials for year 4, 5 and 6 children (under 9, 10 &11) on Tuesday 10th March at The Lamb. The trial will start at 4:45pm, players will need to report to the main entrance between 4:15-4:30pm in full kit, shin pads, boots and a drink. The trial will consist of mainly small sided games and will finish by 5:45pm. The children can be collected at the main entrance between 5:55-6pm.
