On Saturday the Lambs are back in League action when they travel to Northamptonshire to play Brackley Town (NN13 7EJ). The game at St James Park, Churchill  Way, Brackley kicks off at 3.00pm and the side will no doubt revert back more to the side that played Lowestoft Town than the side that was fielded at Hednesford Town last Tuesday evening.

Trialist Harry Joseph has been released after playing at Hednesford and his journey home showed that the deal was not going to work without transport as he missed his train and had to wait in Birmingham until a National Coach left at 3.00am.

The admission price at Brackley are £10 Adults, £5 Concessions (over 60 and students with a valid students card) and £" for the under 16's.Car aparking is limited on site so early arrival is recommended, car parking will cost £2

The matchday programme will be available inside the ground, price £2

Southport next up in FA Cup 13/10/2014

The Lambs were the last but one ball drawn out of the northern section bag which meant they were at home on the 25th October and the last ball was Vanarama Conference Premier League side Southport FC. The tie on the 25th will kick off at 3.00pm and any replay would be on Tuesday 28th October, ko 7.45pm

With the first round only 90 minutes away we will need a big crowd to get behind the team and hopefully get us back into the national limelight where a decent draw for a non-league team can bee season changing with the TV income which can be generated.

Keeper on England stand-by 09/10/2014

Lambs keeper James Belshaw has received a call up to the England C squads stand-by list for the away game in Turkey next week. A bad injury to one of the originally selected keeps has created the opening and after impressing for the Lambs all season James has been rewarded with another England C call.

At present James will only travel if there is any injury doubts with the selected keepers but with it being a specialised position a call may be received on Saturday evening which will mean a very busy Sunday packing for the trip before the FA car arrives to pick him up from his home in Nottingham.

We know if selected he will do a great job and it will certainly be an experience playing in a Turkish stadium..
